BCALLA x Print All Over Me NYFW 2017 Presentation // XYZ FIGHT THE HOMOGENY!

I worked closely with Brad Callahan of BCALLA over a number of weeks to bring his New York Fashion Week presentation vision to life - and it was beautiful, chaotic fashion anarchy. Femme Anarchist Fighters XYZ literally battled and wrestled with the enemy in human form - three suited mascs representing HOMOGENY - in a giant inflatable boxing ring. Violet Chachki hung from the rafters in a referee costume with a sequined train 30 feet long. A massive undertaking motivated by the desire to CREATE BEAUTY with other beautiful beings! Thanks to Print All Over Me for making this collection was possible.

We're constantly being told that NYFW is a place for certain bodies, certain looks, certain ideals of beauty and what is "beautiful".   But ultimately; what's beautiful is expressing yourself and standing up for yourself- even when the man tries to beat you down.

DING DING! FFIIGGGHHHTTT!! DOWN WITH HOMOGENY!!
